An energy management system is defined as a fully functioned control system.
A fully functioned control system includes controllers,various communication devices and the fully complement of operational software necessary to have a fully functioning control system.

The controlling of a system involves three steps.these steps include:-

[2] processing dat with other information [control]
[3] Result [output]
These three functions make up is known as a Control loop.
